Brad’s maternal grandmother was Dora F. (Moser) Tucker (1913), in Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Horace Edward Moser (1885-1965) and Ethel Frances Gilday (1884-1961). Horace was the son of Edwin B. Moser and Grace Lillian Eaton. Ethel was the daughter of Irish parents William Gilday and Mary Ellen Murphy. Edwin had some French-Canadian ancestry. His grandmother was Elizabeth Boutilier (1794-1873). very French last name.
Moser is a common Austrian surname. Also some Germanized people (Ladins) in Trentino-Alto Adige carry it, like the great Francesco Moser.
Interestingly Tobias Moretti’s character in “Inspector Rex” series was named Richie Moser (after a creator of the series)
The Moser lineage leads to Johann Jacob Mosher (1740-1824) born in Switzerland died in Canada. His spouse was Anna Maria Wentzel (1736-1784) from Germany died in Nova Scotia, Canada.
