Bobby Lashley is an American professional wrestler, mixed martial artist, and armed forces veteran, who has worked in WWE, TNA Wrestling, and Bellator MMA. He is also known as Blaster Lashley and Lashley.

Bobby is the son of Clara and Franklin Roberto Lashley, who both emigrated to the U.S. from the Panama Canal Zone, at the time a U.S. territory. His father was a U.S. Army drill sergeant, and he was partly raised in Fort Riley, Kansas. Bobby’s paternal grandfather was William Lashley (the son of Joseph Lashley and Rosalie Troutman). William was born in Panama, to parents from Barbados.

Bobby’s paternal grandmother was named Miriam Riley (the daughter of George Riley and Wilhelmina). Miriam was born in Panama, to a Barbadian father and a Jamaican mother.
