I was right. Father was John Spano, who was the son of Saverio Spano and Maria Valle Valla. His mother was Rose Mary Giannini, who was the daughter of Felice Giannini and Donatella Fiore. Both of his maternal grandparents were born in Puglia, Italy. All four of his grandparents were Italian immigrants…
Are you sure he has no Sicilian ancestry?
BTW born in the Bronx to John and Rose Spano I believe.
How do you know that?
https://web.archive.org/web/20070927230849/http://www.westchestergov.com/aboutwestchester_3932.htm This article says he grew up in the Bronx in the last paragraph. I looked at a record of Andrew Spano born in 1936 in the Bronx under ancestry.com records if it’s the right Andrew Spano is the son of John and Rose Spano. BTW I believe Spano’s children are half-Jewish.
Thanks @follers, I really appreciate Andrew Spano being on ethnic celebs :) I couldn’t find anything about his ancestors, all I know is Spano is an Italian surname. Mind letting me know any additional information you know. thanks,
