Alex Morgan is an American professional soccer player. A striker, she is captain of San Diego Wave FC of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), and the U.S. women’s national soccer team. She has also played for West Coast FC, California Storm, Pali Blues, Western New York Flash, Seattle Sounders Women, Portland Thorns FC, Orlando Pride, Lyon, and Tottenham Hotspur. She played with the U.S. team when they won the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup, and co-captained the team when they won the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
She is the daughter of Pamela and Michael Morgan. She was raised in Diamond Bar, California. Alex is married to professional soccer player Servando Carrasco, who is of Mexican heritage. The couple has a daughter. She is also known by her married name Alexandra Morgan Carrasco.
