She has appeared in many roles, notably in Bridgerton, as Lady Danbury, as well as in long-running British series including Doctor Who and Casualty. Andoh has performed with the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre. Apart from acting, she has directed productions and narrated numerous audiobooks.
Adjoah was born in Clifton, in Bristol to an Akan father from Ghana, and an English mother. She was raised in Wickwar, Gloucestershire.
