Deen is a Bosniak pop recording artist, reality star, and fashion designer. He represented Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016, with Jala Brat, Dalal Midhat-Talakić, and Ana Rucner. He previously represented in 2004, placing ninth.

He is the son of Sabina, a singer, and Zaim Backović, a politician. The name Fuad means “heart” in Arabic. His stage name, Deen, is taken from the Arabic Dīn meaning “faith.”
