Hannah’s grandfather Edgar was born in Montréal, Québec, Canada, and was a prominent businessperson and philanthropist. Hannah’s great-grandfather Samuel was born in Soroki/Soroca, Bessarabia, now Moldova, to Jewish parents, Yechiel Moshe Bronfman and Mindel Elman. Hannah’s paternal grandmother was Ann Margaret Loeb (the daughter of John Langeloth Loeb, Sr. and Frances Lehman). Ann was born in New York. Ann’s brother, John L. add Moldovan Jewish, as Samuel Rosner was born in Soroca, modern day Moldova. Sadiye also has a wikipedia page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saidye_Rosner_Bronfman

Her mother is the daughter of Cecil Monroe Brewer and Vera. They appear all living together on the 1950 census and “Sherry Bronfman of New York” is named among Corine Smith Griffin’s grandchildren in her 1997 obituary.

Cecil Monroe Brewer was born in Arkansas to John Brewer and his wife Pocahontas Dixson. Both of his parents were born in Mississippi.

Vera was the daughter of Corine Smith. Corine was born in Shelby, Bolivar county, Mississippi to William Smith and his wife Nettie. Vera was born before Corine married her husband Ernest Griffin but I haven’t found a record yet that shows what Vera’s surname was.
