Vivienne Westwood was a British impresario, fashion designer, and businessperson. She brought modern punk and new wave fashions into the mainstream.
Vivienne was the daughter of Dora and Gordon Swire, who was a storekeeper and greengrocer. Her family moved to Harrow, Middlesex, during her teens. She was married to Austrian creative director and her design partner, Andreas Kronthaler, until her death. She has a son with her former husband Derek Westwood; and a son, activist and businessperson Joseph Corré, with her former partner, musician, impresario, and visual artist Malcolm McLaren.
