he actually looks like average AFRICAN AMERICAN or mexican+african american

but not like african

black people in the US know that they are not just african but also at some degrees half white

even ROSA PARKS was half white

Multiethnicchick July 8, 2017 at 3:33 pm

Most black Americans don’t look like this man. They look closer to Chris Rock.
He’s clearly mixed race

fuzzybear44 July 9, 2017 at 12:58 am

Have you seen most black Americans? No you have not. Plus the fact is , Chris rock is mixed blooded also , along with I believe the majority of the black population here. Looking more mixed blooded doesn’t mean you are. As I have stated before, Blair underwood is more mixed than Tyra banks, but who looks more mixed?

neiltennant June 23, 2018 at 5:33 pm

he has wonderful brown eyes
looks like triracial

or half mexican and half black

Malefactor September 21, 2015 at 6:32 pm

Looks like a mixture of Black, Native, and European. Seen some Dominicans that resemble him.

fuzzybear44 July 9, 2017 at 1:00 am

That’s not hard to do,I seen Dominicans that could resemble everyone I know

EatEricRoberts December 15, 2014 at 11:01 am

No way he is all black with that hair!

Koko B February 20, 2015 at 3:30 am

Terrance is nothing but a light-skinned black man. Neither parent is/was biracial as claimed. According to his father, Tyrone Howard, Terrance has a revionist view on history and his genealogy. The Santa slaying wasn’t racially provoked and his father only served 11 months for manslaughter because it was self defense. Oh and his father doesn’t have “wavy hair and blue eyes” as Terrance claimed probably more like hazel, which isn’t that uncommon for African Americans. Here’s a newspaper article with a picture of his father: http://archives.chicagotribune.com/1971/12/27/page/24/article/2-worlds-clash-in-christmas-tragedy

Also Terrance claims there hasn’t been a person of full African ancestry in his family for hundreds of years BUT his great grandmother was a dark-skinned woman, a fellow thespian as well. Here’s her obit with a picture: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?GRid=14812488&page=gr

midori29 December 31, 2015 at 4:57 am

I agree, he is overwhelmingly black. Its so annoying how this site tries to mix up every black person who looks different from thier stereotype. Its actually racist.

White18 September 25, 2014 at 1:28 am

Looks like mexican/ blacks I’ve seen.

angrygirl19 September 24, 2014 at 11:20 am

Both of his parents are half black half white

sarahle September 24, 2014 at 5:00 am

of course…NOT!

CLEARLY MIXED!

Check7t July 31, 2014 at 8:29 am

Looks Mexican.

Marseille August 16, 2014 at 7:20 pm

i agree

midori29 September 23, 2014 at 8:29 am

looks regularly black African American to me

midori29 September 23, 2014 at 8:31 am

You people realize in that pic he straightened and slicked his hair. In real life, he has a regular afro.

laura July 30, 2014 at 5:51 pm

From imbd: “My father was half-White and half-Black with sky-blue eyes and wavy hair. They called him no-nation. He hated Whites and told us to be cautious of them. And of Blacks he said, ‘You can’t trust them.'”

follers July 30, 2014 at 6:35 pm

I can’t find where this quote came from originally. I didn’t think Howard’s parents were directly biracial, but I could be wrong.

midori29 September 23, 2014 at 8:32 am

Ive never heard that comment. Or anything like that, he is majority African with some past mixture. He is just the same as 90% of other African Americans. Not to mention the ony mixture I read abut him is like one grandparent.
His parents are definitely not biracial.

Check7t February 24, 2014 at 11:18 pm

He looks tri-racial. I see influences everywhere.

Check7t February 24, 2014 at 11:15 pm

He’s obviously mixed like all other African-Americans who aren’t recent immigrants, don’t be fooled now.

ihatemostpeople February 24, 2014 at 11:08 pm

He’s handsome, but I heard that he abuses women. He beat most of his wives. He has a new chick that he married after only being together for like a month. Who tf does that shit? She’s only in it for the money though……..

Shawnee27 February 24, 2014 at 9:53 pm

Dumbasses both of his parents are biracial, he is biracial. Learn the damn difference.

Bre June 10, 2011 at 2:18 pm

God, who cares? He’s hot as hell.
There is no source here.

Miguel March 8, 2011 at 5:53 pm

man, i am totally mixed, i born in brazil, my parents are colombian, i have grand parent and a great-great parent from Spain both on mother and father side, one black grandmother and a mestizo (half european half native) grand parents… I am european/black/native south american

dan January 28, 2011 at 10:52 pm

he is more than mixed, some german maybe? he has green eyes.

fuzzybear January 29, 2011 at 1:39 am

To Dan

He is more than mixed?Blue eyes are rare, but green are common. So he doesn’t have to be more than mixed.Your expert knowledge on us is amazing.

OctoberForGood May 30, 2011 at 9:19 am

Actually… green eyes are rare. Blue eyes are the fourth most common eye color. Green comes second in least common.

Wtf May 30, 2011 at 9:34 am

@oct: I think your wrong green eyes are more common for black people

Just November 3, 2010 at 7:03 pm

Terrence Howard said from his own mouth on Oprah that he is 50% black and 50% white. His father (black) is serving a life sentence for accidentally killing (stabbing) a racist man who was harassing Terrence’s mother in a mall when he was with his sibling during the holidays when he was a boy.

tye tye August 22, 2010 at 5:40 am

damn dis website is cool cos im african but im 100% mixed my mama is half black and irish and my dad is indian german and black

D-Beezy July 2, 2010 at 7:50 pm

Actually both of his parents are mixed african american and caucasian

total23 May 14, 2010 at 9:01 pm
Island-Boi May 13, 2010 at 10:33 pm

Shoot I can’t remember where but I remember reading or watching something and it said his father was biracial and his mother was black. People made fun of him and called him white when he was growing up because of his hair and eyes.

ethnic May 13, 2010 at 10:40 pm

thats unfortunate.

Fuzzybear May 14, 2010 at 2:25 am

I guess I was lucky, because we didn’t grow up around people like that,I mean I’ve seen it the other way around, but they were usually just joking around;never serious.

morgan April 11, 2010 at 4:57 am

okay. all of you bitches stop hating because he is mixed. just because you may not be mixed and you’re jealous because you don’t know your ancestry does not mean that you can just justify what another person is let alone their race. both of my parents are native american, west indian, and scottish/irish and my dad doesn’t look mixed with white, but he is so wtf?

Fuzzybear March 30, 2010 at 1:06 pm

To Drexxx

Yeah I’m not against it either, because if that was the case,I would be talking against myself and family. Also I heard how they are trying to brown up everyone. But like you said,it’s not going to change how people are. There will always be some kind of hatred, and trust me they’ll find something to hate you for. This reminds me of J. Edgar Hoover who ran the FBI,who kept hidden his black lineage;and did everything he could to destroy anything black. They try to defend him by saying,if mulattoes were seen as a different race;he wouldn’t have done all the cruel things he did;and that is just a bunch of crap

drexxx March 30, 2010 at 8:28 am

they’d rather think about the way their mixed baby look ( more caucasian feature, more beautiful no?? ) It’s just disgusting, and i think that is an other form of racism (under a blanket of pseudo tolerance and mixing,) but there are a lot of ways to mix different cultures each other, not by just fucking each other, pointless for the actual society.
I’m absoluety NOT against mixing, but if it could be done with love and respect, some “mulatto” persons would not be so lost and twisted.

drexxx March 30, 2010 at 8:22 am

Yeah i agree, that ‘s that i was trying to tell you in my previous comments, when white ppl (and also the media) are one dropping bi-racial ppl; the fact is it seems like bi-racial ppl want to create their own race, a “mulatto”(i hate this word, it’s for former slavemasters) race which genetically doesn’t exist. But Nowadays most of the persons who want only make mixed couples in order to have mixed babies consider that they’re fighting against racism !!!
I’m sorry to talk like this, but as a black woman if I fuck with a white, or arb boy, it doesn’t help to fight against racism !!!! But a lot (not all of them) of white girls(black girls) in france want to date only black men(white men) in order to have mixed babies, it’s sad, pointless, useless, and unfair to the future child, because the ones who are doing that never think about the culture they’ll teach to their mixed child (or future child).

Fuzzybear March 27, 2010 at 6:27 pm

To drexxx

I’m going to give my honest opinion on this subject, and ethnic my delete it if he wants. Now to me and a lot of other people, and documentaries on the subject of bi-racial people.Say that there not upset about being called black, their mad you don’t call them white.Every time you see them, they get all upset if you call them black, don’t call me that I’m Bi-racial,but we never seen them do that if you call them white.Look at some of these celebrities that do that, who hurry up and shy away from their black half. Now don’t get me wrong,I really don’t care what they do.But don’t get mad at us because we see people like them every single day who answer to black. Then If a Bi-racial people walks up without a sign on and someone calls them black, they get mad.Now personally this has never happen to me,because every high tone person here answers to being called black, and are quick to say it

total23 May 18, 2010 at 2:53 pm

Maybe They Don’t Get Mad Because They Are Finally Happy That Someone Sees Them As White Since Everyone Usually Sees and Tells Them They’re Black!

I Am Personally Gonna Ask You A Question Because You Seem More Prepared With A Correct Answer Than Anyone Else….Lol. I Was Just Wondering, Whenever I Am On This Site Some People Say “If You Look Black, Your Black” Despite Having A White Ancestor or Parent. But Will Someone Say “If You Look White, Your White” Despite Having A Black Parent Or Ancestor?

Fuzzybear March 27, 2010 at 10:53 am

To Mellow Yellow

Another thing,I never say Terrence Howard wasn’t black.I without a doubt see him as a black man

Fuzzybear March 27, 2010 at 10:51 am

To Mellow Yellow

No you misunderstood,What I was trying to say is,you stated that he was a least 40% white. Now what I was saying is,if he’s not 40% white, his kids most likely are.Now if you couldn’t understand that, don’t call me dumb

Mellow Yellow March 27, 2010 at 12:22 am

I was talking to Fuzzy bear he said if Terrence Howard isn’t black his kids certainly are.

drexxx March 26, 2010 at 10:45 pm

i wasn’t talking about terrence howard’s kids

Mellow Yellow March 26, 2010 at 10:09 pm

His kids are not even half black. WOW people are so dumb. All his kids are by a white jewish woman.

drexxx March 26, 2010 at 7:23 pm

i think that someone could be easily called black if it have at least 50% of african genes, no??

Fuzzybear March 26, 2010 at 6:57 pm

To Mellow Yellow

Well if he isn’t,his kids certainly are:

http://www.blackcelebkids.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/fp_2116979_fighting_premiere_ram_0420091.jpg
Although, these type of kids I see all the time to.All I have to do is look at my family

Fuzzybear March 26, 2010 at 6:46 pm

Now America is called the melting pot, meaning a little something of everything is here. Now black people here can be mixed with anything, but the base is supposed to be of African descent. Now you put all that together and you have African American. Now whether you be Mulatto, creole, MGM,or just plain old black person,it a political umbrella term for us.Now if you don’t want to use the term, don’t.Unless I’m filling out a form,I don’t use it.I just say I’m black and call it a day.

Fuzzybear March 26, 2010 at 5:19 pm

To Mellow Yellow

That’s not what it means

Mellow Yellow March 26, 2010 at 12:25 pm

No it means predominantly over African descent

Fuzzybear March 26, 2010 at 8:21 am

To ethnic

That’s exactly what it means, black and everything else that you are

Mellow Yellow March 26, 2010 at 4:37 am

He has enough admixture to be considered mixed. Seriously he is at least 40% white.

ethnic March 25, 2010 at 10:43 pm

hey Mellow Yellow , I agree that he has Caucasian heritage too but If I think many of the African Americans on this site may have either Caucasian or Native heritage but its difficult to trace or prove. I think the term “African American” can mean someone of African and some other admixture.

Mellow Yellow March 25, 2010 at 10:33 pm

Then could you change his title to Mulatto or add Caucasion

ethnic March 25, 2010 at 10:31 pm

yep I think both his parents are mixed.

Mellow Yellow March 25, 2010 at 10:19 pm

He said it hiself both of his parents are MGM Black & white

Anonymous March 25, 2010 at 4:44 pm

Terrence Howard’s mother is white and his father is black. I saw it on Tyra and in a magazine interview.

i love terrence howard! March 18, 2010 at 2:42 pm

god’s gift

Chief_Mulatto_Native February 16, 2010 at 10:58 am

Terrence Howard is biracial because he has two races in his ancestry.

Anonymous February 2, 2010 at 5:38 am

ummm, tiffany that does mean he’s also bi-racial if both your parent are…. do the math… my grandfather parent were both mixed, and he was half and half too, because of it…. but anyway just because the mans eyes are hazel don’t mean he’s mixed…. african americans eyes colors and skin colors come in all different shades, it can come from 10 generations back….

tbah November 2, 2009 at 3:47 am

he is hott

lis October 31, 2009 at 4:50 am

i think he a common black. nothing more, nothing less.

Anonymous July 6, 2009 at 6:44 am

If you look at the science of his ethnicity his mother is 50% white and 50% black, his father is 50% white and 50% black. When Terrence was born, you take half of each parents ethnicity. 25% black 25% white from the mother, 25% black and 25% white from the father and put it into Terrence’s genes, and Voila! Half black and half white. Sometimes you half to put the science behind reason. There’s something for ya’ll asses!!!

supernerdy June 19, 2009 at 3:33 pm

UM.. I DONT KNOW ABOUT THIS ONE
BUT HE IS FWINNEEEE

Buzzock June 18, 2009 at 8:44 pm

I love his nappy hair.

bluelinexx May 31, 2009 at 3:33 am

Terrence Howard is no more biracial than any other African American. I don’t know why he promotes this @#%^. He was raised on the South Side of Chicago by two black parents. Maybe he thinks it makes him more “acceptable”? Just like he told some interviewer he was an engineer (he never graduated from Pratt Institute as he claimed). I just think some black folks aren’t comfortable just accepting the fact that they are black. I think it’s shameful.

Adam May 22, 2009 at 5:01 pm

basically black..

coolcat April 27, 2009 at 6:09 am

terrence is so fine…beautiful

caren April 26, 2009 at 2:56 pm

that isnt his dad on the pic. on oprah he said both his parents are black and white but his dad looks more white. you can check out the episode of oprah he was on saying this.

Caren April 26, 2009 at 2:54 pm

on oprah, he said his mother and father are both black and white but his father looks more white. you can see for yourself on the episode of oprah he was on.

cory April 20, 2009 at 3:46 am

ya u tellem tiffany

Tiffany April 4, 2009 at 3:17 am

His ethnicity doesn’t say that he’s biracial. It says that both of his parants have both Caucasian & African American ancestry, meaning he’s parents are both bi-racial.

jenny March 17, 2009 at 5:12 pm

They got this all wrong, his father is black but may have some white in him. Terrence is not biracial, they need to fix this.smh

black February 17, 2009 at 2:38 pm

His father looks black to me. Oh well some people eh eh
