Lykke Li is a Swedish singer, songwriter, and model.

Li’s father, Zilverzurfarn (Lars Johan Zachrisson), is a musician, who is the vocalist and guitarist of the Swedish punk-reggae band Dag Vag. Li’s mother, Kärsti Elisabeth Stiege, was a singer and photographer. Her brother is musician Zacharias Zachrisson, Vacation Forever. She was raised partly in Stockholm, as well as Lisbon, Portugal and Morocco. Li has a son with American record producer, songwriter, keyboardist, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist Jeff Bhasker.

Her first name means “happiness” in Swedish.

Lykke’s patrilineal ancestry can be traced to her seventh great-grandfather, Zacharias Limberg (1660, Stora Tuna, Dalarna – 17 July 1715, Jumkil, Uppsala).

Lykke’s paternal grandfather was Lars Erik Zachrisson (the son of Samuel Gustaf Einar Zachrisson and Dagmar Jernberg). Lars was born in Västerås, Västmanland. Samuel was the son of Carl August Zachrisson, who was of part German (including Baltic German) and Scottish descent, and of Mathilda Charlotta Sundell. Dagmar was the daughter of Ernst Erik Kristian Jernberg and Hulda Maria Andersson.

Lykke’s paternal grandmother was Barbro Andrén (the daughter of Ivar Andersson Andrén and Maria Julin). Barbro was born in Västerås, Västmanland. Ivar was the son of Gustaf Anian Andersson and Augusta Johansson. Maria was the daughter of Carl Alfred (later Karl Fredrik) Julin and Johanna Augusta Klingström.

Lykke’s maternal grandfather was Sven Birger Stige (the son of Klaës Albin Qvist and Anna Amalia Elisabet Stige). Sven was born in Stockholm. Klaës was the son of Johan Carlsson and Helena Carlsdotter Qvist. Anna was the daughter of Zacharias (later Zakarias) Svensson and Amalia Charlotta Andersson.

Lykke’s maternal grandmother was Inga-Britt Ståhlberg (the daughter of Oskar Gustaf Adolf Ståhlberg and Astrid Alfrida Eriksson). Inga-Britt was born in Falun, Dalarna. Oskar was the son of Carl Wilhelm (later Karl Vilhelm) Ståhlberg and Hulda Charlotta Hedberg. Astrid was the daughter of Anders Alfred Lang and Augusta Charlotta Eriksson.
