Max Martin is a Swedish record producer, songwriter and singer. He has also been credited as Martin White. Max is the son of Lillemor Elisabet (Johansson) and Sven Karl Sandberg. He is married to Jenny (Petersson), with whom he has a daughter.

Max’s paternal grandfather was Karl Axel Lars Sandberg (the son of Karl Johan Oskar Sandberg and Maria Charlotta Ingegerd Bachér). Max’s grandfather Karl was born in Barlingbo, Gotland. Max’s great-grandfather Karl was the son of Karl August Sandberg and Anna Maria Christina Bäckström. Karl was the son of Gabriel Wilhelm Johan Henriksson Gullans, who was from Närpes, Ostrobothnia, Finland, and of Anna Brita Engberg. Max’s great-grandmother Anna was the daughter of Lars Eric Pehrsson Lindberg and Karen Larsdotter.

Max’s maternal grandmother was Anna Elisabet Maria Eriksson (the daughter of Karl Hilmer Eriksson and Hildur Fredrika Bro). Anna was born in Österhaninge, Stockholm. Karl was the son of Peter Josef Emanuel Eriksson and Maria Ottilia Waltin. Hildur was the daughter of Karl Gustaf August Bro and Hilda Amanda Säll.
