Gilda Radner was an American comedian, writer, and actress.

Her father, Herman Radner, whose surname was originally Ratkowsky, was of Lithuanian Jewish descent. Her mother, Henrietta (Dworkin), was of Polish Jewish descent. Gilda was married to actor Gene Wilder, until her death.

Gilda’s paternal grandfather was George Ratkowsky/Ratkofsky/Radner (the son of Isaac Yanov/Yanoff/Yankel Ratkowsky/Ratkofsky and Goldie Rosenthal). George was a Jewish emigrant, from Kalvarija, Lithuania. Goldie was the daughter of Yael/Gale Rosenthal and Ida.

Gilda’s paternal grandmother was named Mollie Faygofsky (the daughter of Jacob Faygofsky and Rachel). Mollie was a Jewish emigrant, from Kalvarija, Lithuania.

Gilda’s maternal grandfather was Froiem/Alfred Dworkin (the son of Yitzhak Dworkin and Freida-Pesya Ehieleva). Froiem was a Polish Jewish immigrant. Yitzhak was the son of Froim Dworkin and Golda.

Gilda’s maternal grandmother was named Goldie Hyman (the daughter of Jacob Hyman and Esther). Goldie was a Polish Jewish immigrant.

Gilda was a second cousin of businessperson Steve Ballmer. Her maternal great-grandparents, Yitzhak Dworkin and Freida-Pesya Ehieleva, were also Steve’s maternal great-grandparents.
