Zac’s paternal grandfather was James P. Gallen (the son of John J. Gallen and Mary Elizabeth Park). John was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Irish parents, Patrick Gallen and Bridget C. McAllister. Mary was born in New Jersey, also to Irish parents, Michael Park and Mary Duffy.

Zac’s paternal grandmother was Josephine V. Milcarek (the daughter of Leonard Milcarek and Elizabeth Szkotnicki). Elizabeth was born in New York City, to Polish parents, Michael Szkotnicki and Elizabeth Apple.
