William Sadler is an American actor. He is known for his many roles in films and television, including Hard to Kill, Bill & Ted parts 2 and 3, The Shawshank Redemption, Tales from the Crypt Presents: Demon Knight, and the Jesse Stone series.

William is the son of Jane and William Sadler. He is married to Marni Bakst, with whom he has one child.

William’s paternal grandfather was William Sadler (the son of Joseph John Sadler and Edith Jane Jacquest). William’s grandfather William was English, from London. Edith was the daughter of Samuel Jacquest and Zillah Lillah Mann.
