Wayne LaPierre is an American author. He is an advocate for guns. He was the CEO and executive vice president of the National Rifle Association (NRA), both, from 1991 to 2024.

Wayne is the son of Hazel and Wayne Lapierre, an accountant. He was raised mostly in Roanoke, Virginia. He is married to Susan Znidorka.
