Him and Chris Brown are the most hottest black men for me.

He is African alright, but a bit more “ethnic” or “exotic” than the typical West African American. He kinda looks like he has North African blood – Berber, Egyptian or Mauritanian (to the northwest)…

He doesn’t strike me as a full on Subsaharan African, like Akon and Eddie Murphy (who are both cute, mind you).

Or maybe just simply, he has European ancestry…

    He looks Ethiopian.

    Trey Songz is BLACK

Hello follers, how have you been?I can see you’ve been busy

  5. Kerrywhite says:

    “Correction’

He tweeted this along time ago – “I just want to tell my fans that I’m not full Black, I’m mixed. My mother is bi-racial and my dad is a quarter White. I’ve kept my ancestry to myself because I didn’t want it to impact my career and I was unprideful of it. I hope you, my fans can forgive me.”

    • tinasheeeee says:

could you link this tweet? and what type of white? italian? irish? english?

      • Check7t says:

I just Googled that ‘not fully African-American’ quote and couldn’t find any reliable sources or anything from his Twitter to substantiate it too.

        • Kerrywhite says:

Your just going to have to put Bi-racial(white and black) for his mom and African American+25% white for his dad. I really don’t know how you re going to put that without emphasis on the type of ancestry he has lol

I can put the URL of the fb fan site if you want. -https://m.facebook.com/649324715131203/photos/a.649354415128233.1073741827.649324715131203/847466058650400/?type=1&source=46&ref=bookmark

Yeah, I also found on a question on answers.com (I don’t know if it’s reliable site) about his ethnicity. Someone said he’s Dominican, Puerto Rican, Native American & African American

          • Kerrywhite says:

Invalid. Trey never said anything about Puerto Rican, Dominican or Native American in the tweet. He only mentioned white blood but never went on to explain what type of white ancestry. I was trying to find out why he deleted the tweet and I think people were starting to argue over his race/ethnicity so he was forced to delete the quote.

      • Kerrywhite says:

He tweeted a very long time ago and there’s no possible way to find the URL of the tweet unless you sit down for hours or even days looking through his twitter page. I got the quote again by fan pages/communities on Facebook and Google after I lost it just recently. It seems to be going viral a little bit. And the quote didn’t give any analysis on the type of white ancestry. I’ll be glad if he takes a DNA test though.

There are very few full blood black celebs walking around the u.s.a,,their mixture hasn’t hurt their careers .So what if his mom is bi-racial, no big deal.If he actually wrote that, he must not think much of his fans

      • Kerrywhite says:

I don’t think he’s considered a Black celeb when none of his parents are Black. His mom is bi-racial and his dad is a quarter white.

      • Kerrywhite says:

Unless you are referring his father. But not even him is “socially” full Black.

        • fuzzybear44 says:

Well who is black in the u.s then, I mean what’s the cut off point?Blair underwood is 26% euro, is he no longer black either? The Avg black American is said to be between 12.5 to 20% euro, which makes them mixed-bloods, so are there no longer any black people in the u.s.?

          • Kerrywhite says:

Well let’s see. Trey Songz’s mother is 50% Black and 50% White. His father is 25% White and 75% Black. If you do the math Trey is estimated to be 60% Black and 40% White, way more than the average African-American.

          • fuzzybear44 says:

Your adding is off.trey would get 12.5% from his father, and 25% from moms.however are you saying your cut off is 20%? Also again, is Blair underwood black to you?

          • Kerrywhite says:

            Yeah, he’s a typical African-American.

          • fuzzybear44 says:

Well you did side step my other question.I find it interesting that you consider Blair a typical black, but trey father who is less white, you don’t(i’m going by what you stated trey father to be).if I was to see Blair or trey walking down the street, and not knowing who they were.I could truly say all I would see is two black men

        • midori29 says:

@KerryWhite, your reasoning is really off. Trey is BLACK

    • follers says:

Songz clearly didn’t say this quote. For the record, all of his paternal great-grandparents were black, at the least.
