Sunshine Cruz is a Filipina actress and singer.

She is the daughter of Danilo “Danny” Velez Cruz and Alma Samano Braden. She has three children with her former husband, actor and director Cesar Montano. Sunshine’s second half-cousin, once removed, is actor and singer Tirso Cruz III.

Sunshine’s paternal grandfather was Cesar de Ocampo Cruz (the son of Tirso Cruz y Muñoz, or Tirso Muñoz Cruz, Sr. in Filipino, and of Josefa de Ocampo). Tirso was the son of Félix Cruz and Marcosa Muñoz.

Sunshine’s paternal grandmother was named Milagros Velez.

Sunshine’s maternal grandfather was surnamed Braden.
