Stephen Fry is a British comedian, actor, writer, presenter, and activist.

Stephen is the son of Marianne Eve (Newman) and Alan John Fry, who was a physicist and inventor. Stephen’s father was of English descent, from a Christian background. Stephen’s mother is from a Jewish family, the daughter of emigrants, whose families were from Hungary, Slovakia, and Austria.

Stephen is married to comedian Elliott Spencer.
