Sean Young is an American actress. She is known for her roles in the films Stripes, Blade Runner, No Way Out, and Wall Street, among many others.

Sean is the daughter of Lee Guthrie, a screenwriter, public relations executive, and journalist, and Donald Young, Jr., a television producer and journalist. She is married to Robert Lujan, with whom she has two children.

Sean’s paternal grandfather was Donald Begana Young (the son of Elliott/Elliot Young and Rhoda Abrams). Donald was born in Ohio. Elliott was the son of Stella. Rhoda was the daughter of Milton Abrams and Mary Ann Giles/Jiles.

Sean’s paternal grandmother was Mary Kay Knox (the daughter of Albert Eudorse Knox and Helen Margarert/Margaret Faulkner). Mary was born in Kentucky. Albert was the son of John Knox and Susan Louisa Kelly. Helen was the daughter of Horace B. Faulkner and Anna Ewen.

Sean’s maternal grandfather was Robert Kane (the son of John N. “Jack” Kane and Catherine Ann Zehnder). Robert was born in Kentucky. John was born in Kentucky, the son of Irish parents, Nicholas John Kane and Catherine Sheehy, from County Kerry. Sean’s great-grandmother Catherine Zehnder was also born in Kentucky, the daughter of Joseph Alexander Zehnder and Josephina Catharina Bising, who were Swiss, from Einsiedeln, and were of Swiss-German descent.

Sean’s maternal grandmother was Marguerite Guthrie (the daughter of Charles F. Guthrie and Caroline Tressa “Carrie” Hagan). Marguerite was born in Kentucky. Caroline was the daughter of Joseph Maxville Hagan and Emily Donohoo, and had Irish ancestry.
