Rúben Vezo is a Portuguese professional footballer. He plays for Spanish club Valencia CF, as a central defender. He was born in Setúbal, to a Cape Verdean mother and a Portuguese father. He joined local Vitória Futebol Clube’s youth system at the age of eleven. Rúben was promoted to the first team for the 2013–14 season and, on 18 August, 2013, he made his top division debut, starting in a 1–3 home loss against F.C. Porto.
