Robert Lewandowski is a Polish professional footballer. He plays as a striker for La Liga club Barcelona, and captains the Poland national team. He has also played for Delta Warsaw, Legia Warsaw II, Znicz Pruszków II, Znicz Pruszków, Lech Poznań, Borussia Dortmund, and Bayern Munich.

Robert is the son of Iwona, a volleyball player, and Krzysztof Lewandowski, a judo champion and footballer. He was raised in Leszno, Warsaw West County. His sister, Milena, has also played volleyball.

Robert is married to athlete Anna Lewandowska, who is a specialist on nutrition and karate, and a representative of Poland in traditional karate. The couple has two children. Robert is Catholic.

Robert’s grandmother is named Irena.
