Robert Jenrick is an English politician and solicitor. A member of the Conservative Party, he has been Exchequer Secretary to the Treasury, from 9 January, 2018 to 24 July, 2019, Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, from 24 July, 2019 to 15 September, 2021, Minister of State for Health, from 7 September, 2022 to 25 October, 2022, and Minister of State for Immigration, from 25 October, 2022 to 6 December, 2023, as well as, a Member of Parliament for Newark, since 5 June, 2014.
He was raised in Shropshire, near Ludlow, and in Herefordshire. Robert is married to Israeli-born corporate lawyer Michal Berkner, with whom he has three children.
