Rafael is the son of Ana María Parera and Sebastián Nadal Homar, who owns an insurance company, the glass and window company Vidres Mallorca, and the restaurant Sa Punta. His uncle, Miguel Ángel Nadal, is a professional footballer, who played for Barcelona and internationally represented Spain. He speaks Spanish and Mallorquín, a dialect of Catalan.
Rafael is married to María Francisca (Mery) Perelló Pascual, with whom he has a son.
Rafael’s paternal grandfather is named Rafael Nadal. Rafael was a musician.

If he was born in a Latin American Country everyone would be certain he is mixed with something. Slightly exotic looking Spaniard. He has no ancestry from the Canary Islands?
