Philip Carey was an American actor. He was well known during the 1950s.

Philip was the son of Carrie and Joseph A. Carey.

Philip’s paternal grandfather was named David Frank Carey (the son of William Carey and Martha). David was born in New Jersey. William was born in New York, to a father from Ireland and a mother from New Jersey. Martha was born in New Jersey.

Philip’s paternal grandmother was Rose Ann Cook (the daughter of John Joseph Cook and Mary Ann Anglehart). Rose Ann was born in Bloomingdale, New Jersey. John was the son of Henry Martin Cook, who was mostly of Dutch descent, with some French; and of Matilda Frances Sehulster, who was of at least mostly German descent.
