Peter Tägtgren is a Swedish musician and record producer. He is the lead vocalist and guitarist of the death metal band Hypocrisy as well as the industrial metal band PAIN in which he is the only member. He is also the co-founder of the industrial metal band Lindemann, along with Rammstein lead singer Till Lindemann.

Peter is the son of Kerstin Kristina (Andersson) and Alf Åke Tägtgren.

Peter’s paternal grandfather was Åke Sixten Tägtgren (the son of an unknown father and Edit Elisabet Tägtgren). Peter’s grandfather Åke was born in Stora Tuna, Dalarna. Edit was the daughter of an unknown father and Augusta Tägtgren.

Peter’s paternal grandmother was Ingrid Kristina Malm (the daughter of Per Malm and Brita Olsdotter). Ingrid was born in Gagnef, Dalarna. Per was the son of Per Andersson Malm and Carin Matsdotter. Brita was the daughter of Olof Jansson and Margta Andersdotter.

Peter’s maternal grandfather was named Per Harald Andersson. Peter’s grandfather Per was Finland Swedish.
