    An immigration record.

Anyway no proof Albino Maldini (the son of Giuseppe Maldini) had Slovenian roots, unlike his wife Maria Vodeb. His surname was spelled Maldini on their marriage record, in this: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:939N-ZWDC-N?wc=93B8-FMQ%3A296375001%2C995302101&cc=1947830

I’d add “likely some Slovenian” to Paolo.
