Nate Mann is an American actor. He is known for his roles on the shows Ray Donovan, Masters of the Air, as real-life WWII U.S. army officer Robert “Rosie” Rosenthal; and Apples Never Fall.

He was raised in the Philadelphia area.

Nate’s paternal grandfather was particle physicist Alfred K. Mann (the son of David Mann and Belle Mann). Alfred was born in New York, and was known for his part in the discovery of the fundamental properties of neutrinos. David was a Hungarian Jewish immigrant, and was the son of Bernard Mann and Eseter Grosshandler. Belle was born in New York, to Hungarian Jewish parents, Henry Mann and Katie Roth.

Nate’s paternal grandmother was Jayne Pledge Bowers (the daughter of Douglas Evant Bowers and Lillian Turner). Jayne was born in North Carolina. Douglas was the son of James William Bowers and Estie Campbell Burger. Lillian was the daughter of John Admyre/Admire Turner and Mary Elizabeth “Mollie” Poindexter.
