Morgenshtern is a Russian rapper, singer, record producer, and songwriter. He is known for his parody videos. He has also been billed as 1st July, MamaVirgin, and DeeneS MC.

Morgenshtern is the son of Marina Morgenshtern, a florist, and Tagir Valeyev. His father is of Bashkir descent. His mother is of Russian Jewish ancestry.
