Molly’s paternal grandfather was Alan Richard Kestner (the son of Albert Kestner and Leona/Leone Grace Bohn). Alan was born in Austin, Minnesota. Albert was the son of Charles John Kestner and Anna Kolpin. His family emigrated from the Pomerania region of Germany to Wisconsin. Leona was the daughter of Henry Bohn, whose parents were from Sachsen, Germany; and of Evelina/Evaline E. Mahn/Malm, was born in Sweden.

Molly’s paternal grandmother was Beverly Knutson (the daughter of Roy Knutson and Clarine Donna Juliet Peterson). Roy was of Norwegian descent. Clarine was born in Iowa, the daughter of Ole Peder Peterson, whose parents were Norwegian; and of Tilda Petrine Pedersen, whose parents were from Treungen, Nissedal, Telemark, Norway.

Molly’s maternal grandfather was James Joseph O’Connor (the son of Garrett O’Connor and Margaret Virginia Donelan/Donnellan). James was born in Cleveland, Ohio, to Irish parents, his father from Causeway, Tralee, County Kerry and his mother from Newcastle, County Galway. Margaret was the daughter of James Donnellan and Sarah McGann.

Molly’s maternal grandmother was Florence May Potichny (the daughter of Frank Potichny and Celia Ann Brzozowski/Brozowski). Florence was born in Cleveland, Ohio, to a Slovak father and a Polish mother. Frank was the son of Joseph Poticsnye and Lizzie Hasko.
