Max Miller is an American politician. A Republican, he has been a Member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Ohio, since January 3, 2023.

Max is the son of Barbara and Abraham Miller. His uncle is Middle East analyst, author, and negotiator Aaron David Miller. He is married to Emily Moreno, with whom he has one child.

Max’s paternal grandfather was Sam Miller (Samuel Henry Miller, the son of Abraham “Abe” Miller and Anna Finkelstein). Samuel was born in Cleveland, Ohio, to a Russian Jewish father and a Polish Jewish mother. He was a businessperson and philanthropist, who led the growth of Forest City Material Co., a lumber interest, to real estate Forest City Enterprises. Anna was born in Augustow, Augustów County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, the daughter of Reuven Finkelstein and Rivka Oleachnovitch.

Max’s paternal grandmother was Dr. Ruth Iris Ratner (the daughter of Leonard Ratner and Lillian Bernstein). Leonard was born in Bialystok, Białystok County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, Poland, the son of Moses/Morris Ratner/Ratowczer and Pauline/Pesha Koppelman. Lillian was born in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Russian Jewish parents, Harry Bernstein and Dora Goldie Seiner/Sheinberg.

Max’s maternal grandfather was Jason Rowse/Rosenberg (the son of Louis Rosenberg and Jeanette Glicksberg). Jason was born in Ohio.
