Mark Pellington is an American film director, writer, and producer.

He is the son of Milica and linebacker Bill Pellington. His father was from New Jersey, and played 12 seasons in the NFL for the Baltimore Colts. His mother was born in Missouri, and was of Serbian descent.

Mark’s paternal grandfather was William Pellington (the son of Alfred Pellington and Clara Buckley). William was born in New Jersey. Alfred was born in New Jersey, the son of James Pellington, whose father was English, and of Adelia Sarah Rude/Rhude. Clara was born in New Jersey, to parents from either England or Wales, Edward Buckley and Sarah.

Mark’s paternal grandmother was named Sadie. Sadie was born in New Jersey.

Mark’s maternal grandfather was named Milo T. “Mile” Vukovich/Vukovic. Mile was born in Yugoslavia, and was an ethnic Serbian.

Mark’s maternal grandmother was named Ruza “Rose” Nogulich. Rose was born in Yugoslavia, and was an ethnic Serbian.
