Mark Consuelos is an American actor. He is known for playing Hiram Lodge on the series Riverdale, and for his roles on television’s All My Children, Missing (2004), and Queen of the South.
Mark was born in Zaragoza, Spain. His father, Isaul “Saul” Consuelos Resendiz, is Mexican. His mother, Camilla De Micheli, was born in 1940 in Tripoli, Libya, then an Italian colony, to Italian parents.
Mark was raised in Italy, Lebanon in Illinois, Tampa, Florida, and Valrico, Florida. He has said that he can not speak Spanish, but speaks Italian.
Mark is married to television personality and actress Kelly Ripa, with whom he has three children, including Michael Consuelos, who played the younger version of his character on Riverdale.

Well not really, Mexicans can look white, mestizo (Indigenous & white), mulato (white and afro mix) and a lot of other mixes. I am of Mexican descent and I’m white, I’m sure I have some Indigenous blood in me but the European (my great grandparents where from Spain) side is more dominant, it shows more just like with other Mexicans, or sometimes the indigenous is more dominant on some. Most Mexicans are mestizo( European and indigenous) but we all look different. So don’t generalize. In my family alone I have family who have blue eyes & blond hair, even uncles and cousins who look middle eastern , and even Asian.

Andrew, Good thing ya are starting to understand that everyone is different somehow, but still wrong on the wouldn’t pass for locals in Italy or Spain. Must realize sooner or later that some Caucasians do look similar to his skin color. I could even show ya pictures of just Italian Whites, and Spaniards Whites that are olive skin that look similar to him. Also, The perspective for caucasians is brown hair and brown eyes, but is acceptable for others also. He does have the Italian features and Mexican it seems. Now in evidence, he is caucasian by the ethnicity, heritage and race but who knows because he may accept both sides.

Alf: Mark’s father and mother met in college in Spain. His father was student from Mexico and his mother was a student from Italy. They got married, had Mark, and then moved to Italy because his mother wanted to be near her family. Mark is fluent in Italian, and I heard him speak it to Tony Danza when he had his talk show.

no, spaniards are indigenous europeans.. the “darker” appearance among many spaniards is what native europeans look like.. notice how you find such appearances in majority of the people who have never been invaded by arabs? like moldovans, romanians, hungarians? the reason that many darker europeans have some similar looks to some lighter middle easterners is because they share an ancestry and close genetic ties
