Marianna Hill is an American actress. She is known for her roles in the 1960s-70s, including the films El Condor, High Plains Drifter, and Messiah of Evil. She has also been billed as Mariana Hill, Marianne Hill, and Marianna Renfred.

Marianna is a first cousin, once removed, of Norman Schwarzkopf, Sr., the first superintendent of the New Jersey State Police, and a second cousin of U.S. Army General Norman Schwarzkopf, Jr., who led all coalition forces in the Gulf War.

Marianna’s paternal grandfather was Rudolph Herman Schwarzkopf (the son of Christian Gottfried Schwarzkopf and Friederika Emma Bertha Caroline Louis/Lewis). Rudolph was born in Newark, New Jersey, to German parents, from Baden-Württemberg. Christian was born in Sulz am Neckar, the son of Johann Michael Schwarzkopf and Dorothee Gottliebin Lehmann. Bertha was born in Stuttgart, the daughter of Gottlieb Friedrich Louis and Emma Sophie Kern.

Marianna’s paternal grandmother was Grace Evelyn Hoon (the daughter of Samuel Adam Hoon and Elizabeth Jackson Hatch). Grace was born in Dixon, Illinois. Samuel was the son of Jacob Hoon and Sarah Heckman, and was, at least mostly, of German descent. Elizabeth was the daughter of James Hatch, Jr. and Maria Louisa Jackson, and had deep roots in the U.S., with mostly English ancestry.

Marianna’s maternal grandfather was Chester Lawrence Hill (the son of Charles Henry Hill and Mary Hawthorn Caldwell). Chester was born in Lowell, Massachusetts. Charles was the son of Rufus Franklin Hill and Sarah Lawrence, and had deep roots in the U.S. Mary was the daughter of James Caldwell and Sarah Ann Hawthorn, and was of Scots-Irish descent.

Marianna’s maternal grandmother was Helen Elisabeth Kissinger (the daughter of John Wagner Kissinger and Mary Ellen Hemmig). Helen was born in Reading, Pennsylvania. John was the son of Amos Kissinger and Mary Ann Wagner, who were from Pennsylvania. Marianna’s great-grandmother Mary Ellen was the daughter William D. Hemmig, who had German (including Alsatian) and some Swiss-German ancestry, and of Catharine Sands.
