ALL ITALIANS!!!!!!!!!!1
LOL most of the people you named aren’t beautiful ! John Cena is tank but beautiful ??? Madonna is a psycho ! Lady Gaga is a man !!!! John Travolta maybe back in the 80’s was beautiful ! Paris Hilton is like 1/15 Italian ! Lindsay Lohan is mainly Irish too !!!!
@Gigia, i don’t get why italians and all southern europeans try to be nordic or celtic so much, as u said ive been to italy, and the italians in the south are generally darker than the northern ones. as majority of northern italians look like regular white people to me, but there are even some in the north (Florence, Udine, and Milan) with more tanned and arabic type skin. Such as the italian soccer player Zambrotta, and southern italians i found quite tanned and Arabic looking! by arabic looking i don’t mean like Saudi, but more Lebanese/Syrian type, and they’re kinda white too if u consider italians/greeks white!! Just look at syria’s President, and Lebanon’s and even Jordan’s or Algeria’s they are all white !!!!! and it is really a fact in sicily viking might have came but so did the north africans and Arabs just look how close Sicily is too Africa !!! And it’s a fact the more south u go the darker the people get, just look at Europe it’s north or africa so the people are lighter, in europe northern europeans suchas Scandanavians, are lighter than the southern Europeans, in africa north africans/arabs are lighter than central and southern africans! in India northern Indians are more Arabic looking and lighter than Southern Indians, in East Asia, Asians from the northern parts of the Far east Korea, japan etc. are lighter than southeast asians, indonesians, malaysians etc. And sun isn’t the only reason but also race that’s like black people and white people are the same race but in Africa it’s hotter so they got more Tanned??
Italians don’t like pale skin people since roman empire, so you are talking cr**. More than 60% of lebanese population is catholic, they got a lot of european influence. Lebanon was used by europeans to get in North Africa, as well as Syria. Bashar al Assad is Alawite, they are estimated to constitute between 10-15% of the syria population. Bashar al Assad is clearly white-caucasian. Spite of these facts , I think majority of syrian population are dark skinned, and I have seen dark skinned lebaneses. I don’t know anything about Jordan and Algeria, so….but many royal families from Middle East marriage with people from another countries and ethnics. Sun, climate, That’s what science says, but I think it’s more about miscegenation.
I have also seen many dark skinned Italians just watch the Jersey shore !!!! Or the Italian national soccer team !
” Spite of these facts i think majority of Syrian population is dark skinned “. So u basically just aren’t admitting that u don’t admit facts, but are making your own opinion up!! That’s like me saying all Italians look the ones on Jersey shore ! But I know Italians and every single race in the world varies in looks, because it is a fact ! I am Syrian, and i honestly have skin pale as the color of snow, freckles, green eyes, and red hair !!!! But when I tell people I am Arab or Syrian, I get stupid comments Like “Oh u look Irish cause ur a ginger”, or ” You don’t like Osama that much”, just stereotypes !!!! People think if ur Arab u have to be brown skinned but the truth is Arabs range in colors from black (Sudanese and some other African Arabs) to Brown(Saudis, Gulf Arabs, Yemeni,Omani, majority of Iraqis) to white(Lebanese, Syrian, and Jordanian) I don’t mean white like Nordic but white like Mediterrenean! And there is arabs who are mixed with all such as Egyptians,Libyans,Algerians, and Tunisians!
I said Syria was route to Europeans and majority of the population could looks dark, I didn’t say every single person in Syria was dark skinned. Because I know that people from North Africa and Middle East are very mixed. I said it because the history of that region, seeing that many ethnic groups from this country/region were represented as dark skinned people. Hyksos for example. I’m not the kind of person who categorizes people by stereotypes. This guy (http://tinyurl.com/7xpmd8p) looks just like you, he’s a Lebanese with pale skin, red hair and green eyes. He’s catholic btw.
“White” people is ANYONE from Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. The term has NOTHING to do with skin color and everything to do with geography. That means that a Russian is NOT a white person and a very dark skinned person from North Africa IS a white person.
The original peoples of Southern Europe were of Celtic descent. The Moors (Arabs) invaded Spain in 711 and were kicked out of their last stronghold in Granada in 1492 by Queen Isabella. So, yes you are in fact correct in seeing Arabic features as any dark skinned European from Southern Europe is for sure displaying that Arabic influence. A Southern European being proud of their Celtic roots or showing them is totally normal IMO.
Russians aren’t whites? The Caucasus is the cradle of European people, that’s why white skin people are called “Caucasians”. Ignorant people use to say white is a race but it’s not. Caucasian is the right term to describe people from Europe, Eurasia, Middle East, South Asia, and North Africa. There a huge difference when you classified regions by skin color instead of race. You should read the book “The Invention of the White Race”. White means White, Black means Black, Yellow means Yellow. The truth is there are fails in any way to classify humans, you know why. In 40’s Nazis used to think people from Tibet were Aryans because of their skull size. I don’t know if this Italian thinking is based on proud, it’s just a history heritage.
