Levi Dylan is an American actor and model. He is the son of singer and songwriter Jakob Dylan, of the rock band The Wallflowers, and actress and screenwriter Paige Dylan, and the grandson of musician Bob Dylan.
Levi’s paternal grandfather was born Robert Allen Zimmerman (the son of Abram “Abe” Zimmerman and Beatrice “Beatty” Stone). Bob Dylan was born in Minnesota. Abram was the son of Jewish parents from Odessa, in the Russian Empire, now in Ukraine, Zigman/Zigmund Zisel Zimmerman and Anna Chana Greenstein. Beatrice was the daughter of Lithuanian Jewish parents, with roots in Kaunas/Kovno, Benjamin David Solemovitz/Stone and Florence Sara Edelstein.
Levi’s paternal grandmother is actress and model Sara Dylan (born Shirley Marlin Noznisky, the daughter of Isaac Noznisky/Novoletsky and Bessie). Sara was born in Delaware, to a Jewish family. Isaac was born in Poland.
Levi’s maternal grandfather was William Frank Denny (the son of Eugene Clark “Gene” Denny and Martha Mathias). William had Irish, Scottish, German, and Scots-Irish/Northern Irish ancestry. Gene was the son of Clark Bradshaw Denny and Mable/Mabel Tamar Bradshaw. Martha was the daughter of Frank L. Mathias and Henrietta McLean/McClain.
Levi’s maternal grandmother was Michele Ann Dunn (the daughter of Clarence Leo Dunn and Lucille Annette Gerth). Michele was born in Minnesota, and was of German, and some English, ancestry. Clarence was the son of Clyde Belk Lanterman and Frances Anna Bauer, whose parents were ethnic Germans, from France and Germany, respectively. Lucille was born in North Dakota, the daughter of Wesley George Gerth and Anna Sophia Stolzenburg, who were the children of German parents.
