Laura Põldvere is an Estonian singer. She represented Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, along with Koit Toome. She previously represented in 2005 as part of the girl group Suntribe. She is also known as Laura and Laura Remmel.

She is the daughter of Martina and Ailar Põldvere.

Laura’s patrilineal ancestry can be traced back to her eighth great-grandfather, Elias, of Vadi, Avinurme Parish, Ida-Viru County.

Laura’s paternal grandfather is Joel-Mikhel Põldvere (the son of August Pomm, later Põldvere, and of Amanda Alviine Raja). August was the son of Jaan Pomm and Leena Hunt. Amanda was the daughter of Mihkel Raja/Raia and Anna Haav.

Laura’s paternal grandmother is Elvi Kirs (the daughter of Aleksander Kirs and Juuli Karliine Veeber). Juuli was the daughter of Jaan Veeber/Veber and Maria Perve.

Laura’s maternal grandfather was Ülo Pihela (the son of Johannes Pihela and Marta Kermann). Ülo was born in Harjumaa. Johannes was the son of Jann Petoffer, later Pihela, and of Tiina Lepmann. Marta was the daughter of Hans Kermann and Liisa Plomann.

Laura’s maternal grandmother was Vilma Jaanits (the daughter of Jaan Jaanits and Olga Kukk). Vilma was born in Viljandimaa. Jaan was the son of Hans Jaanhold and Mari Rass. Olga was the daughter of Mihkel Kukk and Anna Koobas.

Laura’s matrilineal ancestry can be traced back to her fifth great-grandmother, Ewa Nurk.
