@andrew If the carthaginians were full phoenicians or not,it doesn’t have much relevance, throughout history peoples are mixing,in punic wars they had armies of mercenaries, but most part they were asians.
The latin language,it’s interesting, the latin vocabulary is indo-european,but the grammar,
the estructure of the language,is somehow strange and very difficult to learn, the structure is
similar to the Ural-Altaic group e.g., hungarian,
    finnish,estonian and others.The Ural-Altaic group
is asian, probably the romans inherited this grammar from the etruscans(trojans) and this could indicate that the etruscan had a large influence in roman’s racial composition, this etruscans, according to greek writers were very
tanned people. But my point is, there’s nothing wrong with this “asian” heritage, this heritage built the greater civilization ever.
It’s funny to see some people paranoic about whiteness. Some of the greatest civilizations were in asia and in north africa.
We,anglo-saxans,we are the only white,is it a joke
or just stupidity? This very, very young civilization will soon disappear.See the racial composition of England and America today.
Then to me Laura Pausini, Da Vinci, Caesar, Augustus, Nero, Scipio and many others born in Italy were not full “indo-europeans” and it’s a advantage. They were/are romans and etruscans,
for the last 3000 years, the two greatest races on this planet.

there’s absolutely nothing wrong with “asian” Heritage, they have their own civilizations like China who has a long history, for example. but “Asians” has nothing to share with Mediterranean civilizations, you’re crazy

Nobody said the etruscans were mongoloids, imo etruscans were trojans that settled in central Italy, after the final defeat of Troy by Greek forces around 11th century BC, these trojans occupied a good portion of land surrounding the ancient Troy in Anatolia aka Asia Minor and through the Balkans reached Italy. The true origins of the romans is also a mistery, I think it’ s impossible without etruscan(asian) blood with its skills the rise of the roman civilazation, it’s more common believed the romans were ancient settlers from central europe or homegrown italics, this idea has being challenged, the romans’ physicall appearence, the grammar of the latin language, close, for example to hungarian(magyar-asian) language, the legends of Rome all coming from the east(e.g.,Virgil’s Aeneid) and also the extreme brutality of the romans, only matched by asian civilizations(persians, carthaginians),homegrown europeans(celtics, germans) never got even near that kind of violent behaviour. So all these characteristics
put together can demonstrate the romans had strong asian(etruscan-trojan) heritage. But for sure no mongoloids. So modern italians carry a certain amount of asian blood.

Carthaginians weren’t definitely an “Asian” civilization, but a mix of Phoenicians (if you consider Lebanese as “Asian”) and Berbers from modern Tunisia, another Mediterannean people as Romans, Egyptians, Greeks, Etruscans, Phoenicians etc..you keep using the word “Asian” but it’s NOT correct.
Never heard the grammar of the latin language was close to hungarian/magyar, as you know they belong from different family languages

Laura Pausini has for sure some asian roots, she was born in Emilia Romagna, this region was part of the Etruscan world, the etruscan people came from Asia in ancient times, maybe from the black sea region and maybe even from the ancient Troy, nobody knows for sure, but no doubt Asian people, btw the roman civilization was in great part an Asian civilization, so even in northern italians the Asian heritage is strong, so Laura Pausini through etruscans and romans carries asian heritage.

    • andrew says:

The Roman civilization was in gran part an Asian civilization..omg! It’s not clear if Etruscans were indigenous to Italy or they came from Anatolia Aka Asia Minor, it doesnt mean they were Asians\Mongoloids, they were a Mediterranean people as we know from their customs, similar to Greeks. Ancient Troy was in this area, modern Western Turkey. And Pausini doesnt look Asian at all, she’s a very average brunette, fair Italian woman with a big nose and a curvy body lol

  4. WTF says:

she looks exotic for an italian. she looks part native american or asian.
