Here’s something for Ann to work on! How much Polish was her grandmother? From what I’ve read, Grinevsky is a Polish surname, but it could’ve been in Russia for many generation. The Wikipedia page for Alexandre Alexeieff mentions that Alexandra’s mother “was given a ticket back to Poland, her native country” after Alexandra’s birth.
