Kirsten Vangsness is an American actress and writer. She is known for her role on the shows Criminal Minds, Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior, and Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders.

Kirsten’s paternal grandfather was Clarence William Leroy Vangsness (the son of Ole Andrew Vangsness and Inga Olafina Engebretsen/Engebretsdatter). Clarence was born in North Dakota.
