Kim Hunter was an American actress. She won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for A Streetcar Named Desire (1951).

Kim was the daughter of Grace M., a concert pianist, and Donald Cole, a refrigeration engineer. She was married to actor Robert Emmett, until his death. She had a daughter with her former husband, Marine Corps pilot William Baldwin; and a son with Robert.

Kim’s paternal grandfather was George Byron Cole (the son of William Parker Cole and Emeline/Elizabeth Clap/Clapp). George was born in Maryland. William was the son of Thaddeus Cole and Eleanor W. Parker.

Kim’s paternal grandmother was Mary Jane Williams (the daughter of Cyrus Milton Williams and Jane Bird Neff). Mary Jane was born in Ohio. Cyrus was the son of Clark Williams and Mary Thompson.

Kim’s maternal grandfather was Charles Henry Lind (the son of Jeremiah Lind and Anna Marie Catharine “Mary” Getz). Charles was born in Ohio. Jeremiah was the son of Abraham Lind and Abigail Krouse.

Kim’s maternal grandmother was Ellen B. Reese (the daughter of Samuel Reese and Mary “Polly” Lesh). Ellen was born in Ohio. Samuel was the son of John Reese, who was Welsh, and of Hannah Wright. Mary was the daughter of Mary Lesh.
