Kevin Durant is an American professional basketball player. A power forward and small forward, he plays for the Phoenix Suns of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He has also played for the Seattle SuperSonics/Oklahoma City Thunder, the Golden State Warriors, and the Brooklyn Nets, and the U.S. Olympic Team. He is nicknamed “KD.” He is 6′11″.
Kevin is the son of Wanda Durant and Wayne Pratt. He was raised in Prince George’s County, Maryland, on the outskirts of Washington.
Kevin’s maternal grandmother is Barbara Durant (the daughter of Troy Durant and Esther Latson). Troy was the son of Asbury Durant and Alice E. Shields. Esther was the daughter of Govenor Latson and Hattie.
