Julia Lester is an American actress. Her roles include the film Prom Dates, the series Mom, Spirit Riding Free, in voice performance; and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, and Broadway’s Into the Woods.
She is the daughter of actors Kelly Richman and Loren Lester, who voiced Robin/Nightwing on Batman: The Animated Series. Her uncle, mother’s brother, is composer Lucas Richman. Her maternal grandparents were actors Peter Mark Richman, of Dynasty and Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan; and Helen Richman.
Julia’s paternal grandfather was Eugene Lester/Gottlieb (the son of Chaim Simcha/Samuel Gottlieb and Miriam Rachel Molowany). Eugene was born in New York. The 1930 census lists her grandmother as the daughter of Samuel Landess but with the surname of the maid in the house, Fox. Don’t know if it means anything but I wanted to point it out.

On the 1940 and 1950 censuses, her surname is Landess.
On the census itself, both of the children are listed underneath the maid’s name. I think it’s probably just the way the clerk decided to enumerate the household.
