Joe Morton is an American actor. His roles include the films The Brother from Another Planet, City of Hope, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Of Mice and Men, Speed, Lone Star, Blues Brothers 2000, Apt Pupil, What Lies Beneath, Ali, Paycheck, Stealth, American Gangster, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Justice League, and television’s Scandal and Eureka.

He is the son of Evelyn, a secretary, and Joseph Thomas Morton, a U.S. Army intelligence officer. He spent part of his childhood in West Germany and Okinawa, Japan, for his father’s career. He has three children.
