Seriously what is it with these “oh she has brown eyes, she has Native blood”….You could say Italian or Jewish roots, but Native is just pushing it…

Can’t full blooded white people not have brown eyes? Brown eyes are so common you know, they’re everywhere and can be found anywhere. Doesn’t mean that whoever has them they’re mixed. *eyes roll*

Full blooded Germans and Scots can have brown eyes…!

    • JRose says:

You are right. More people in the world have brown eyes than any other color. Blue is extremely rare and green is even more rare. And brown eyes are found in some of the fairest people. A lot of redheads have brown eyes actually. I don’t understand these comments either. So ignorant

    @Follers

I’m curious about something.I was looking at Judy Reyes IMDB Trivia page, and she’s quoted for saying, she’s surprised that Jessica is a Latina:

    Personal Quotes section
    http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0721332/bio

What are the odds of there being, any truth to that?I mean Latinos/Latina have no fixed look,so what do you think?

    • andrew says:

imdb.com is becoming more and more not reliable as site

    • andrew says:

imdb.com says Jessica is a distant relative of Al Gore, even though she’s a registered Republican who voted for Bush and McCain. Also Jessica mother is reported to be of English and “Native American” descent

    • follers says:

“I don’t know if I’m more surprised by this [ALMA award] or the fact that Jessica Simpson is Latina”

Perhaps it was a joke. If you think about it that way, it makes sense.

Jessica Simpson has no documented Hispanic ancestry, nor any documented Native American ancestry. Her mother’s (and dad’s) family is listed as “White” going back many generations.

Some of my posts below this one (see the ones after “Ryan” on this page) have a lot of her genealogy.

      • Me myself and I says:

Hey there Follers, I know I’m annoying, but could you do a research on Phoebe Tonkin? I really wanna know her ethnicity, in advance thanks :)

        • follers says:

Australians are hard to find the genealogy of, because most records that are available are from many years ago. Tonkin is an English surname, though, and her parents’ names are Jannyfer and Nicholas.

          • J.J. says:

White Australians of 3+ generations (usually of british/anglo ancestry) are almost always ignorant to their heritage and prefer to identify themselves as ‘just australian’ as they seem to think white skin with light hair and light eyes is stereotypically an ‘australian’ look without recognising the fact that the white look and their heritage is European and that a true ‘australian’ is an aboriginal/indigenous person. That would be the main reason why finding out a white Australian person’s heritage is difficult, however most of Australia is pure bred british & irish descent not like America which has many people of dutch, german, french, Norwegian etc descent. So it’s easy to assume a white Australian person who doesn’t recognise their ethnicity is of anglo descent. There are also many white Australians or Italian, greek, Serbian, Croatian, Lebanese etc descent however they’re usually of less generations Australian and are more proud of their ethnicity and more inclined to state it.
source: I’m a born and bred white Australian from Sydney of southern European descent.
