Her father, who was born in Los Angeles, is of Mexican descent, including Spanish, Indigenous Mexican/Mayan, and distant Sephardi Jewish and African, roots. Her mother, who was born in Virginia, has Danish, Welsh, English, Scottish, Scots-Irish/Northern Irish, and French, ancestry. She was raised partly in Biloxi, Mississippi; Del Rio, Texas; and finally Claremont, California, traveling for her father’s career.
Her brother is actor Joshua Alba. Jessica is married to producer Cash Warren, with whom she has three children. Cash’s father is African-American and his mother is white. Jessica’s third cousin, once removed, is writer Gustavo Arellano.
Jessica has described her father as very dark and her mother as very fair. According to Jessica, her grandfather never spoke Spanish at home because he wanted the family to assimilate into the American mainstream. As a result, Jessica’s father did not learn to speak Spanish.
A DNA test whose results were displayed on the show Finding Your Roots with Henry Louis Gates, Jr. (2014) stated that Jessica’s genetic ancestry is:

Jessica has stated that she identifies with her Mexican-American heritage. DNA tests on the show indicated that Jessica’s direct patrilineal ancestor was Indigenous. These DNA tests also displayed that Jessica’s father’s direct matrilineal ancestor, Maria Carmen Carrillo/Carillo, was of Sephardi Jewish descent. They also showed that Jessica’s father likely has at least 2.1% Sephardi Jewish ancestry in total. DNA matches listed him as 0.7% Ashkenazi; they also listed him as 0.6% Italian, 0.4% North African, and 0.4% Middle Eastern, all of which were or likely were Jewish in his case according to DNA matches.
Jessica’s 0.1% South Asian DNA is evidently from Jessica’s mother’s side.
Genetically, Jessica was found to have a common ancestor with attorney Alan Dershowitz.

I’m sure that DNA of test Jessica isn’t legit as I question the validity of George Lopez.
Of course the test is bullshit. Lopez was said to be 55% European, which is a lie. He looks mostly Native American. For a Castiza, Jessica doesn’t look predominately white at all.

You’re completely correct. A lot of Hispanics HATE acknowledging that they have African blood. The reality is that African slaves were living in every Latin American country. The only country that did not have that many Africans was Argentina. Argentina has inhabitants of African descent, but not as many as Brazil, Colombia, Puerto Rico, etc.. Argentina has a lot of European settlers and of course, native people. Even so, an argument can be made that even if some Argentinians have Spanish and Italian blood, many Spaniards have “Moorish” blood. Many Spaniards have North African blood and some also have Sub-Saharan African blood. Some Italians have African blood also: there was a lot of mixing with African slaves (and slaves of other races) in Italy during the reign of the Roman Empire. Look past the skin color and look at facial features and natural hair texture and you will see evidence of African blood. Read about History. Also, “Black in Latin America”, a Professor Henry Louis Gates documentary, is very interesting!! It’s about African descendants in Peru, Mexico, etc..

That is just based on one sample group of 7 people from Portugal. I’ve seen Sample groups in the pass,where the Portuguese were as high as 20% African in some areas.Does this mean the Portuguese aren’t white,No.It just means some have extra flavor to them.The same for the Spanish. Well I do agree the majority of Muslims in Spain were converts,and many were the descendants of those true moors.However it wasn’t just the first wave that were true moors,The real ones continued to come in over that 800 yrs period,and those caliphs often change coloration.During the Almoravid dynasty,they were overwhelmingly black.

The only black people who don’t exhibit Negroid traits anthropometrically or morphologically are ones who are admixed with non-Negroid groups (e.g New World Blacks, Horn Africans, etc) it’s impossible for a purebred Negroid genotypically (let’s say a Ghanian) to exhibit a Caucasoid craniofacial structure.
No Portuguese are 20% African, you were looking at haplogroup studies from WP and haplogroups are a terrible way to measure admixture due to subclades, migration, etc, they’re bogus and pretty much pseudo-science all together.

WRONG! WRONG! Most mexicans Do NOT have african ancestry! The slaves that once lived in Mexico only lived in the south, where you can find many dark skin mexicans. In the north and the majority of Mexico, people are Mestizo, mixed with european (In other words mixed with white) and not only Spaniards emigrated to mexico, also french, Italians, etc.
Only a very small fraction less than 2% have african ancestry and is very notorious, for example the mexican singer Kalimba. Please do not talk about my people when you even have not been to mexico, you’ll be surprised how many WHITE people live there.
