Joseph Emmanual Delasandro sounds Italian rather than Spanish (-> D’Alessandro). Also on ancestry.com John Mirer/Meyer/Muerer’s wife’s name is spelled Mary Ann Dalessantis (-> De Santis). I doubt he was Spanish.
I wonder if any of these people appear on census or other records. Where they did come from?
I dunno, but I am pretty sure that Mary Ann Dalessantis/Delassanders/Dellasanntis had Italian ancestry. It’s also very unlikely that a Spanish man from Andalusia moved to Canada in mid 1800s
