Iker Casillas is a Spanish professional footballer and commentator. A goalkeeper, he played for Real Madrid C, Real Madrid B, Real Madrid, and Porto, and the Spain national team. He is nicknamed “San Iker”/”Saint Iker.”

He is the son of María del Carmen Fernández González and José Luis Casillas. His parents are originally from Navalacruz, Ávila. His brother, Unai Casillas, also played football. Iker has two children with his former wife, sports journalist Sara Carbonero.
