    Could you all stop? Thanks.

Dang, were the comments actually turned off in the Oded Fehr page? Or is something wrong on my end?

    • andrew says:

Hi passingtime, thanks for the support. I think that was the correct decision to do in Fehr’s profile.

Anyhow I just wanted to remark than Anti-Zionism and Anti-Semitism are two different concepts.

      • passingtime85 says:

Agreed, on both the decision and the fact the terms are indeed separate issues.

Vik27 is like Yeravam on steroids.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aKUyajBKZmg I have to disagree. anti-zionism is not criticism of a country it is a criticism of a countries existence/right to exist. If people randomly choose Ireland, Italy, etc. to be destroyed of all the countries in the world how can they say they are friends of the Irish? Dennis Prager is 100% right in this video

          • andrew says:

That is a controversial video with more dislikes than likes. Most Anti-Zionists in the world are probably Jews theirselves, there are Anti-Zionist Jewish associations and so on.

Israel in its current form and location is a mistake and the cost of its continued existence outweighs its merits.

Would you move into an apartment building, where people punch you and slap you in the back of the head, each time they passed you in the halls, just because some of your family once lived there?

It’s a simplified view of the situation, but the overall idea is similar. Why go where you’re not wanted, to the point of people willing to kill you just for being there? Standing your ground and standing by a conviction is admirable in some respects, but decades on end, costing human lives on both sides, is not worth it. It’s stubborn to the point of death. It’s retarded.

A nation/homeland for the Jewish people should have been established in the Canadian territories, where old world resentment, animosity, and hostilities against Jews, doesn’t exist. The First Nations people would have been miffed, but it wouldn’t cause a death toll that the Levant has paid.

According to religious law there was to be no return to Israel without the messiah, if you put any stock into such lore.

          • andrew says:

I totally agree with you. The whole question Is a mess but as of 2021 there’s no chance to go back so the parts involved have to work on a compromise for the benefit of all the people.

          • jackson9 says:

@Passingtime there are so many flaws and inaccurate things you said. It wouldn’t be like moving into an apartment because there were always Jews who have lived in what is now present day Israel. In 1948 there was no Palestinian state either and there could have easily been one if they agreed to it and on four separate occasions afterwards. 2. you say Jews should go to Canada, why not the Palestinians? or any other group back in the 40s trying to create a nation-state? because they weren’t hated? is that really the principle we are going by? Please learn the history before calling fighting for Zionism whether Jewish or not “retarded”

The state of Israel has destroyed lives that should not have been sacrificed. It’s a nice notion, a homeland, safety, and security for a wayward people, but killing for land is wrong.

Killing and struggle over land and resources is apart of every lifeform’s history, especially for humans, but we’re supposed to strive to be beyond that.

Israel’s existence is just fuel to the fire. There probably will never be peace in the middle east because of Islamic infighting, but Israel being thrown into the mix certainly doesn’t help anything.

My analogy was a broad stroking, overarching simplification, but it is the gist of the situation.

People shouldn’t stay where they’re not welcome, whether or it’s an question of ethical or moral fortitude or who’s in the right, sticking around fighting to the death is retarded, especially if the solution is just to walk away.

Familes on both sides are being destroyed and devastated every year, it’s not worth it.

          • jackson9 says:

So the Arab countries who hate each other which ones should “walk away?” Why is it the responsibility of the nation the size of New Jersey that probably treats its citizens the best (Jewish or not) to move?

          • passingtime85 says:

Jews lost that land a long time ago, and have only been there in large numbers for 70+ years. They have reasons and means to walk away. Israel the place, is not even the most important thing to continued survival for the Jewish people.

Before Judea, before Judah, before Israel, the Hebrew people were bound by faith, custom, and proximity. They can be a collective nation anywhere, it doesn’t have to be in that one small corner of the world.

The middle east infighting could be stopped if it were not for millennia old feuds, exacerbated by differences in religious interpretations. Those particular problems will never be solved by outside influence. They have to choose to change from within.

As for the question of how Israel fits into the mix? The Islamic population as a whole, will never accept Israel’s presence in that part of the world. It’ll costs lives that could be better lived elsewhere. My opinion is that they should leave.

Or they could stay and it’ll cause misery for decades to come, until something cataclysmic happens.

          • jackson9 says:

“The middle east infighting could be stopped if it were not for millennia old feuds, exacerbated by differences in religious interpretations.”

So to stop these feuds should we get rid of the Sunni or Shia countries in the region that are killing each other? I mention that conflict alone (nothing there are many others) in the region because your quote was specifically about religious interpretation. So let’s be consistent. And secondly I am not Jewish but Judaism has ALWAYS consisted of three components, God, the torah, and Israel. to suggest otherwise is nonsense. If Israel isn’t part of the Judaism neither is the Bible or God.

          • jackson9 says:

To summarize my point how much life and protection in the Levant do you really think will be preserved without Israel? Even if we did scapegoat Israel the Arab nations and the nations that have little freedoms around the world will continue to fight each other and focus their efforts on different targets. This quote is part of the reason why I support Zionism along with the fact that the 20% non-Jewish populations have the same rights in Israel-proper.
“If the Arabs put down their weapons today, there would be no more ‎violence. If the Jews put ‎down their weapons ‎today, there would be no ‎more Israel’‎”

          • passingtime85 says:

There were a few centuries of existence for monotheistic Hebrews, before Israel was established. There’s been over 2 thousand years of continued existence since the fall of Israel. Unwavering support of Israel is nationalism, a notion that leads to nothing but trouble. The religion and the people are not reliant upon the state of Israel, in order to survive.

There’s also Muslim extremists that terrorize their own denominations because they don’t adhere to their strict interpretations of the Koran.

How many lives would be spared? Hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands, who knows, but I do know if a single life spared, was one you cared about, it would be worth walking away from a plot of land.

Idk if you’re aware of this but there’s parts of the Koran that support the destruction of all Jews. Maybe it would smart for Jews not to live next people, that have individuals in their midst, willing to erase them from the earth, because some words in a book tell them to.

Is “muricansareallmutts” a former member/banned member? The (often inappropriate and insulting) comments seem familiar.
