Emma’s parents are Juliette, a speech therapist, and Chris Corrin, a businessperson. Emma’s mother is from South Africa.

Emma’s paternal grandfather was Eric Stanley Corrin (the son of James Corrin and Minnie Gunn). Eric was born in Birkenhead, Cheshire, England. James was born on Ballasalla, Isle of Man, the son of James Corrin and Margaret Kermode. Emma’s great-grandmother Cecile was born in Gravenhage, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands, the daughter of Josiah Paulus van Pauwvliet, who had small amounts of Belgian Flemish, Spanish, and Sephardi Jewish, ancestry; and of Cecile Arnoldine Carp, whose father was from Dusseldorf, Düsseldorf, Germany.

Emma’s maternal grandfather was Edward Henry Robert “Bob” Womersley (the son of John Samuel Womersley and Mary Ellen Boyle). Edward was born in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, South Africa, to parents from England. John was the son of Pelham Bertwhistle/Birtwhistle Womersley and Charlotte Stollery Cayzer. Mary Ellen was the daughter of Sydney Cuthbert Boyle and Ellen.

Emma’s maternal grandmother was Rosemary Joan Sibbald (the daughter of Dr. Douglas William Sibbald and Silvia Emilia Trillia). Rosemary was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Douglas was born in Mulgrave Street, Wellington, New Zealand, the son of William Robert Fraser Sibbald, who was from Stockbridge, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland; and of Joanna Flanagan, who was born in Dunedin, New Zealand, to Irish parents, with roots in Birr, Offaly. Emma’s great-grandmother Silvia was born in Buenos Aires, the daughter of Robert Fessey/Fessy Trillia, who appears to have been of one quarter Italian and three quarters British Isles descent; and of Helen/Elena “Chulita” Nicholson, whose own father, Henry Richard Nicholson, was from Enniskillen, co.
