She looks multiracial in my opinion.

sorry but I call bs, she absolutely doesn’t look multiracial, if she had an Anglo-saxon name or hailed from a different place you wouldn’t even bat an eye

I don’t know wether it’s her case since I’m unfamiliar with her genealogy, but there was a huge influx of Spaniards and other Europeans to PR, Cuba, etc during late-18th century, there are families with very short American history, Ana de Armas for instance, her grandparents are Spanish

It’s always with Hispanics you have these kind of schizophrenic bias, she’s white, she looks fully white, period

I believe when I made that comment I was referring to her posisbly being mixed with Canarians (who are also mixed with North African) and minor Amerindian influences. However now that I look at other photos its obvious she is fully european so yes you’re correct.

“Schizophrenic bias” excuse me? Are you implying I have a bias with hispanic people? It’s not that deep. Just because I dont think people like Ricky Martin, Marc Anthony and Pitbull are completely “white passing” doesnt mean I have a bias against them.

I dont have any problem with hispanic people. My sister-in law is a full white puerto rican. She has natural dirty blonde hair, blue eyes, pink skin and a strange sort of Scandinavian look to her which I always assumed is due to her distant Danish ancestry (evident in her jaw, mouth and eye shape) since she has “Mortensen” surname in her father’s side. So yes I’m aware that some Puerto Ricans are purely white but they still identify as Latina including Dayanara.

“I was referring to her possibly being mixed with Canarians”
No you weren’t, you said she LOOKS multiracial, which she doesn’t, you could’ve specified all this in the first place, I do not discard any potential “residual” non-European ancestry for any European person.
The schizophrenic bias remark wasn’t necessarily aimed towards you particularly but to the general American public which due to cultural influences and, fairly enough due to its neighbour status with Mexico and the whole of latin America (where most people aren’t white to be fair) seems rather hesitant toward the idea of a Hispanic person being white or European which is funny since the only reason latin Americans are “hispanic” is because of the European hispanics.
And since you brought up the Canarians thing which is very very interesting, according to most sources, the Guanches, which were the Canary Island natives, were interestingly enough, “virtually” white, they were caucasian, had light to olive skin complexions, brown eyes and in a lot of cases blonde hair
